hey my cousin just gave me a free fuel filter for my car...and i have no idea where it even goes. I've installed my own header, resignator, tach, etc, so i'm fairly mechanic literate (i don't know if that makes snese) anyways...is it hard? where does it go? how does it work? i lost my haynes manual, so i don't know where else ot turn
thanks

if that doesnt work just trying tracing the fuel line from the rail backwards.....eventually you'll get to that canister pvang is talkin about. just remember dont be a fucking moron like i was and smoke when you do it. catching your hand on fire is no joke....se what happens when you drink and work on your car at the same time!!!

oh yeah, use flare end wrenches, not regular wrenches, you will strip the bolts on the lines with regular wrenches....

If you are standing in front of your car (facing the hood), the fuel filter should be located at the top right corner next to your battery.
You will probably need to purchase a fuel fiter washer kit from a local auto shop.

see that black thing mounted on the firewall to the right of the battery? that's the fuel filter. before you take that top bolt off unscrew your fuel cap to let out some of the excess pressure. and be careful taking off that top bolt don't want any fuel in your eyes. if you take off the fuel cap though it barely does anything though. it's pretty much a straightforward job. just don't lose anything :D
