Robert Fulton Jr. died today at the age of 95. If I got his name correct, he was the inventer of the "airphibian" one of the few working flying cars ever made. He was also a photographer, and interestingly, was present in 1923 for the opening of king Tut's tomb. I guess some people get to have all the fun.

The history channel did a show on this guy a while back, he was a very intelligent and bold man. Any guy who creates something that can kill them and intrusts there life in it has got balls.

If people don't even know how to drive on a flat ground, what makes him think they can fly a car?

Apparently Dante and Randall hadn't heard of Robert Fulton, Jr.

I have to admit I'd never heard of an actual flying car - I too instantly thought of Dante & Randal waxing lyrical on the subject!
I wonder if the topic will come up in Kevin Smith's new movie?

Hmmmm, I was sitting here reading this, thinking I was sure he died a couple of years ago.
But then look who raised the thread from the dead, new kind of spammer?
Anyway thread closed, its going the same way as its topic, althought it didn't live quite the same life.
