brakes help

I have a 1998 Rodeo and one day the brake pedal got real hard and then it just went to the floor. The brakes are somewhat new few monthes maybe a year from midas. Is there air in lines? What can I do? Help?

it could be air in the lines or your master cylinder is on the way out. Either way it is very dangerous to drive. I ws drive a truck once (F350) when the master cylinder went out and slamed into the truck a head of my. Funny thing was i was just picking it up for the shop for an oil change and I mentioned that the brakes felt weak (city job, city truck) when I dropped it off.

No I checked that but could i have air in the lines and how do you bleed em.

Thanks I was afraid maybe the master cylinder was on its way out too.

Bleeding brakes is a two person job. I would just take it back to place that recently did the job. It shouldn't cost more then 50 bucks.
