short shifter

I don't know if this has been asked before what is a short shifter?

it makes your shifts shorter, from 1st to 2nd form 2nd to 3rd and on

is there different types of short shifters and where would be a good place to buy them

i don't think there is any name brand that makes them i know on 3si there are a couple people making them

I like the shifter that is on the 3000GT's already. Were lucky the shifts are already pretty dang short. Say you you compared it to a Camaro or Mustangs you would think the GT's already have a short shifter on them.

Yes.. that is what i have in my car and it is a noticibly faster shift and much cheaper.

That 2nd one seems to be a more simplier design, less bends, it seems straight, if the pictures aren't too misleading, but I don't know how much of a different that would really equate to.
