Okay heres the quick deal. My friend did his head gasket the other night and he needed to use my timing gun. So he came down and we hooked the light up. I have the dizzy moved as far as it can move and it is still off by about this much |--| So I'm thinkin he moved his cam gear when he had the head off. Is that possible?

Yep, sounds like the cam is off a tooth or two.
You can use the repair manual to get everything lined up, if not done already.

yea the cam gear (as jackasssi said) or is the crankpulley lined up properly? My friend had that problem, for him it was the pulley = had to take off the belt and re align.
