Re: problems with a 98 Cavy.

I have a 98 Cavalier. It's had the same problem since the day I bought it. If you go through major stop and go traffic. It gets a little bit hot. I don't mean it reaches the red zone. At times, it's come a little too close for my taste. I know I need to flush my coolant system and replace my thermastat. But, that seems like an unlikely cause of the problem. My mechanic told me that it could be the coolant fan. Anybody else with a similar problem.

i've noticed that my previous 2 cavalier both reached past half way on the temperature side as a normal temperature
