i got a 2000 cavalier with 65000 miles already. im looking to give it some speed but i also want the car to last for a while. i was thinking about swapping with a Z24 or a 2.4 ECOTEC. is this even worth it price wise? thanks in advance

the ecotech is 2.0L. But no it would prolly just be easier to get a newer car. I just bought my 2001 Z24 with 32k miles, fully loaded for $8,750.00 no damage, great shape

Jaysons Right. I got a 2000 Cavailer Z24 with 6500 miles on it for $8500, so they are out there. By the time you are all said and done, it'll probably be chaper and cause you a lot less headaches.

the Ecotec is a 2.2 liter...the Cobalt will be coming out with a 2.4 liter Ecotec and a 2.0 Supercharged Ecotec
