Auto tranny specs

a 94 Lt1, it has a 4L60E tranny ( i think) What other cars had them that i could use, do they hook right up to a 6cyl? or do i need one specifically made for a 94LT1

if the 94 is an automatic than yes its the 4L60E, but no a tranny out of an LT1 will not bolt up to the sixer. the bolt patterns on the bellhousings are different...
