I was talking to one of the guys from a local rotary shop and he was saying that Mazda has ended production of rotary housings for the FC and FD 13B engines. Mazda will still be making RX-8 housing, but if this is true then eventually rebuilding a old rotary will get harder and harder to do. Very unfortunate. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

Nope i have't heard nothing like that yet, but if it is , I think is going to be a good idea to start a machine chop and fabricate housings ,rotors ect ect for rx's . and sell them and make a lot of money !!! whos in?? :naughty:

racing beat sells housings... weather they make them or get em from mazda i dont know... i think they make them. Belive me if Mazda stops making them machining companies will start making them if there is a demand for them.
