OBD1 Or OBD2?

I have a 1995 T/A. I had a problem with slugish power that I had fixed but as I was looking for the fix, I wanted to check for any engine codes in the computer. It has an OBD2 connector under the dash but I think it is an OBD1 system. An OBD2 does hook to the connector but does not read the ECM because it is an OBD1 system. I can't find a tester that hooks up to the OBD2 connector and reads OBD1. Any answers?

You will need a bi-directional scan tool such as a Tech1, Tech2 or a Snap-On scanner

Go to Autozone and they can read your codes for FREE.
