Okay, so what's your favorite Mustang of all time? This can include concepts and aftermarket tuners.

I'm not sure what mine would be. It's a tough call. But, here are a few of my picks....

'65 (for looks)
'67 Fastback (again, looks)
Any GT350 (but preferably 67)
FR500

LOOKS
1968 Ford production Mustang
(sorry, I am not a big fan of this picture, but its all that I could come up with.. I've seen them look much nicer than this)

The Saleen SR looks awesome. I also like the '67 fastback.

I don't like the Mustangs but I would have to go with an older one. Like the 67 500 GT.

The SR is way overdone IMHO, look at it, you can't tell what the hell it is under there! Here are my pics:

Looks, Boss 429 or 302

Speed, look above :)

I loved these cars, but love their cousin more, the Eliminator (Mercury Cougar).

Probably a '69 Boss 429, with a '71 Mach 1 Fastback coming in 2nd.

I like the '70 Boss 302, '71 Boss 351, '01 Cobra, '01 Saleen S351, '01 Bullit Mustang, etc.

They're all wonderful, but the Boss is my favorite.

Yeah, I don't really like the new body style. I'd prefer a mid 90's Saleen or Cobra.

I actually like the new body style compared to the '94/'95/'96/'97/'98 models. I think the back looks a lot better and the front hood looks good as well :)

I like the jalapeno green color :D

Most of these are cars I've actually seen or ridden in, mostly during my work at the local Ford dealer.

1. 1972 Mach 1 with Edelbrock headers
2. 1969 Boss 429
3. Eleanor

Wow, a '69 Boss 429 would be awesome!!!! :)

Eleanor in the original was awesome, but Eleanor in the latest GI60S is fake of course, but I guess it did look pretty cool :).

Steve McQueen's '68 Fastback from Bullitt. I love that dark green.

'69 to '70 Boss 302 and Mach 1 Mustangs. I plan to buy a '69 or '70 Mach 1 and completely rebuild it to modern specs, save for a carbuerated motor (probably a 351W with an Edelbrock top end). There is almost no limit to what you can do with these cars through current aftermarket offerings alone, you can virtually build whatever you want off the base chassis.

It's also interesting to note that the old Mustangs have a better front suspension design than the late model Mustangs, given you can tighten up the frame enough they can actually handle better than the new ones with the right suspension parts.

#1 - Fox body notchback, weld draglites, with big fat mickeys on the back and skinnies up front.

#2 - 1998 Cobra

#3 - Late 60's fastback

Tony 96 Cobra

Let's see.. I have owned a 93 Notch w/ weld Rod-lites, black of course..

I have owned a 99 GT, silver
I have now a 96 Cobra, black

But my fav would have to be either a Teal 93 Cobra w/ gray leather, or a black 90 Saleen, or a 93 Cobra R considering there were only 107 made.

that damn snake on the fender is so sexy..

92' lx coup 5.0L
93' cobra
looks-70' mach1
performance-01' cobra (fastest production model to date I believe)
I also like the Jet s/c and the cobra competition. I just wish they would come out with one. Just imagine it, a car that only cost a bit over 30 grand that will spank a corvett.
F it, I love all stangs.

I am a fan of all stangs as well, having owned an 86, 98 and currently 94. However, I'm becoming more and more partial to both the Super Stallion and FR500, just for their slightly-deviant-from-stock appearance. Must be a phase :D
