engine papers

I'm gonna buy 2 b16a's come spring and was wondering what exactly are "papers", is it just a recipt that has the engines # on it? thanks

They just insures that the engine is legal... Not Stolen

yes make sure you get your papers. if an engine does not have its papers, do not buy it!

so a recipt w/serial # is good enough proof?.....I thought there might be some sort of 'title' or certificate by the company or shop that removed it....oh well. I thought there be more 'cause a person could just make up a phony buisness, docter up some papers and volia! stolen engine is now legal:eek:

Nah I think its enogh- it would be here in germany i think!
