Two minor problems with my 96 taurus that i would love to hear some input on how to fix. 1) My door panel is starting to come off on the driver side only a tiny bit top left part. You can smack it back on but it come undone eventually. Any way to fix this?
2) Not really a big deal but but the driver side power lock switch doesn't work fully. It will lock but not unlock, it will unlock all if u turn the key twice, and the passenger side power lock works completely. Thanks in advance for any responses hoping to hear from anyone. Bye :)

The door panels are held on by flimsy plastic grippers, it sounds like the one in question has worn to the point where it needs replacing, these things are really cheap to buy and easy to install.
The lock mechanism probably just needs to be lubricated, they tend to dry out and it will only take one sticking part to give a problem. I don't think you need to replace anything to fix that. Just remove the door panel and spray all moving parts with a good quality penetrating oil. Then work the lock through several cycles to let the oil do it's job.
