Everyone,

Last week I asked an Infiniti dealer to check on any changes for the 2005 G35 sedan. At the same time, I contacted Infiniti directly at which point they told me the changes were going to be minimal with a $1,000 to $1,500 price increase. The sales rep got back to me today and said the "Infiniti Rep" told him there were going to be drastic changes (essentially a new model) with a significant price increase. I'm not sure if he's attempting to force me into buying the G35 now as opposed to waiting or if he is being completely honest with me. I contacted Infiniti again today at which point they told me they had no idea what the changes were going to be until this Summer and that they do not know where the individual received this information. I'm worried that I 1.) won't get the car that I want or 2.) I'll buy the car now and be pissed that there were only minor changes made and I should have waited. I was wondering if anyone has any information for me or advice. Also, Infiniti Consumer Affairs told me I would have no recourse if this occured with Infiniti directly and would be stuck dealing with the dealer. Please respond to either this post or email. Thanks for your help everyone!

On a different note, have you noticed the similarities between the G35 Sedan and MB E class, especially if you put Eibach pro springs on with larger wheels?

I've heard rumors that the interior is to be upgraded to slightly better materials, but that was it. This is the first I've heard of a significant price increase. I think it's too early for a new model. Maybe a few more options are becoming standard equipment like Xenons did before.

Umm, I have some information that the changes to the interior will be SIGNIFICANT. Stay posted and keep on asking...

the only thing ive heard is to increase hp by 20 making it push 300ponies to compete against the BMW's new 335Ci which is going to have a 275~280hp. Also heard about interior changes...bc most customers think that a car that expensive should have a better interior....thats the only thing ive heard so far...if i were you...id definetly wait...
