i got projectors but i dont think they shine a circle against a wall. On the road they are really good... just gotta aim them properly. I got mines from ebay also

check the headlight aim correctly.

Projectors have a sharper cut-off beam pattern than regular lights to avoid glare to other drivers. i think that what you may be describing, the half circle cut off on top.

heres a pic of a cadillac with projectors. notice nice strait cut-off lines, low glare, instead of full circle light regular halogens which have more glare.

hey I bought some pojectors off ebay for my 92 wagon, I had the same problem, I put in new bulbs, the hyper whites, you have H1's and H3's plus regular bulbs. There are many types of "hyper whites" out there so check around and see what your local import store is selling I used the "wizard" bulbs and they are bad ass!

yea ill try get a pic up... Only thing is that my picture links hasnt been working for a while... the whole site is like that so unless i find a new way to link pictures then ill gettem up ASAP... i used to use mypicgallery.com

Anyway to me i think my lights are pretty much the same as stock maybe a lil better. Most ppl say that the trick to projectors is to aim it right. I dunno my cuz said it points to the ground a lil bit so maybe thats why it looks pretty bright. Then again he barely knows about cars and to me it looked fine. Ill try to adjust it, drive in the dark place and see if i have the same problem. I dunno in hawaii we have bascially street lights everywhere and in the rain... it makes the road all shiny and glossy (makes u wanna powerslide) so it reflects the streetlights a lot so i cant see my headlights anyway. Even when i had my stock lights i couldnt even see them in the rain.

The projectors you bought could have been used and he opened them up to clean them. It's not hard to put it back together, lots of people open up headlights to paint/clean the lights.

Also, since the Projectors are aftermarket, You might have a lower quality made projector lights made by a cheap company, and if that's the reason, you can't do much. Try using Sylvania Silverstars for brighter output.

Example: My '95 Integra have stock Projectors, but accidents left me with:
1.Driver Side Projector Is an used OEM Honda light from junkyard.
2. Passenger side Projector is brand new AfterMarket light.

The Driverside old Honda light is much Brighter and Better Focused than the New Aftermarket light.

Conclusion: Poorly made Headlights from cheap companies don't work good.

Projectors typically don't give good lighting. Your gonna have to mess around with the way they are aimed. thats the only way to get the best possible lighting from Projectors. And try some better bulbs.

yea mine are half circles too guess there like that then , and yea he opoend them to make the cut off line a blue/purple look so when im behind some one and the lights move up and down you can see the color changing but the thing is he was stupid and put one of my projectors up side down so i have one upside down half circle beam blinding everyone.lol got to get that fixed...
