I recently heard of some guy who's throwing in a 2nd gen supra tt drivetrain and engine in a 70s celica. I know there were some celicas that were rear wheel drive. What years were they?
How hard do you all think this mod would be? What kind of price tag do you think this would have to do it plus buying the car? I think that would be definatly enough power. What's the name of that engine anyway it escapes my mind.

2JZ!!!!!!!!!!! Rocks the old school Celica!! My son is looking into this set up. We found an old Celica that hasn't been on the road since 1995. It is a 1974 I believe. The 2JZ and drive train will be great! RWD Celicas are the best!

So what has he found about the swap? What do you think it'll do in the qarter? Do you think that would be a better swap than a rb26dett in a 240z?
