Was already to buy. Had car for 12,444 after Mucho deliberation with New Rochelle Hyundai. They also danced around financing though I had secured better. They also charged me $20 for a credit check and then double dipped my card. It was fun watching Moe, Larry and Curly do everything they could to avoid the white elephant in the middle of the living room - mainly what they were giving me for my Hyundai 2000 Accent L with 65,000 w/trade 2200-2400. They offered me $1000 for the trade in and 6.5. Now that's the type of Hyundai loyalty that will keep me coming back. I pay off the Hyundai in a year and will then get a better rate and buy the Elantra GT or any other fucken car I want. On a bright note. I spoke with Sev at Manhattan Hyundai who quoted me the best price for the car and did not jerk me around at all or invite me for a tete-a-tete to discuss numbers that we aleady knew were'nt going to work. I will be giving him a call for a quote and if I do buy the Hyundai in a year or so it will be from his team. Take my advice. Avoice New Rochelle Hyundai like the plague. PS. I also had some work done there on my car and I mean minor. Oil Change - they broke the sheath the dip stick goes into and let me bring it back with the oil pouring over the manifold. When I turned on the heat it was like Elizabeth NJ on a hot day. Then there was the time I brought it in to get a new pair of wiper blades and they somehow managed to move my plug on one of my spark plugs which misfired as I was trying to get onto the I95. Couldn't get the car above 40. Trucks have air brakes for a good reason I found out. Anyway - you would think this would have been enough but I'm a masochist at heart. I figure sales and service are 2 parts of the same such as Democrats and Republicans; the twain never meeting. Right!!!! Anyway - do yourself a real favor and go to Manhattan Hyundai or any other car dealer in the world before dealing with the schmucks at New Rochelle Hyundai, New Rochelle New York. THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smokin:

Keeping the Accent L w/no AC and 40MPG on the highway was a Godsend. I'll never complain about it again. Good cars. Shitty dealerships and you don't even want to think about getting your lemon serviced by local yocal Hyundai and dealing with Hyundai ("We don't have any control over our dealers") as your advocate. The cars are decent at least mine has been so knock on wood. Probably because I wouldn't let Hyundai touch it again for any price. Don't trade in anything - sell on your own. Know the pricing for several models that you want and bring all your paperwork and don't forget the calculator they will tell you they can't find. Put a tube of KY on the desk to let them know you are a gentler person than they. And then grab your ankles and say "Yee Hah" Another Happy overpaying Hyundai Customer being ripped off by credit or just the old fashioned way - the STEALER. Best off buying a used car. I know now.
