Probe transmission id code

We have a '91 Probe LX, 3.0L, Vin code U, 4-speed auto. Problem is: what transmiission is this? By shape of pan it is a 4EAT-G; All transmission sites I've searched say it is (or should be) a 4EAT-G. The drivers door jamb vehicle codes sticker says the trans is a "T", which from the trans sites indicate it may be an AXODE. Is the "T" a misprint or maybe a Mazda code digit? Anyone able to decipher this? Thanks in advance :banghead:
