What Is everyones most pet hate with the hobby.
mine is 2 hates 1. Is that every time a kit gets released it is dicontinued before it gets to australia and we don't get one.
2.every time i get new kits into the shop the prices have gone up.And being a modeller not just a retailer that really pisses me off.
what are your pet hates

you would think that the companies like Fujimi/Aoshima would think gee everyone is running out of rims they must be selling alot well we better make more and of different types.
and how many kits does Tamiya put out a year now not many

i hate it when 1. a kit comes out and i cant get it cause there is not a hobby shop with in a 100 miles here 2.when your building your supra and a spider as big as your hand crawls across your head 3.glueing small parts on to bodys after they have been painted 4.having to wait a month before i can get that kit that i cant get at the so called "local" hobby shop 5.when i loose a little part 6.when i break a windshield or something
wow i just noticed i hate alot of stuff about models but i love it so dearly.

In this hobby, I hate:
1- my own lazzyness :loser:
2- my insatisfaction :loser:
3- my poor skills :loser:
... And that stupid profitability that makes car manufacturers and/or model makers from selling us 1/24 beauties like Aston Martin, Lotus, McLaren F1, Maserati, etc... :banghead:

AMT/Ertl being bought by Racing Champions who then fired the whole tooling staff.
Johan's AMC tooling being lost to the ages. DAMNIT I CAN'T PAY $200 FOR AN UNSTARTED George Follmer/Mark Donohue 1971 SCCA Trans-Am Javelin.
Revell's current trend towards screw on chassis.
Fujimi and Aoshima's poor distribution in stateside hobby shops.
Hasegawa's slow speed at releasing new kits.
Tamiya's refusal to release more classic car kits.
And the resin aftermarket for ensuring that I'll never have a retirement nest egg. :grinno:

That and the lack of a really good 2-pac clear that is non-toxic and safe for ALL decals.

Great I can tell you my story :naughty:
- First of all I just HATE that I can't buy ANY Tamiya model or color or anything in my coutry becouse we don't have Tamiya dealer
- We don't have ANY of Japan or American (Monogram, Ertl) kit
- In whole country we only have A FEW stores with Testors-ModelMaster paint and even tho I can't get the paint I want (today I went in LHS with a list of 5 colors - didn't het even one  )
- Most of the rare paint are at least 5 years old
- We don't have ANY acrylics - just enamels (I got one acryl from Heller but I found it in warehouse and the paint is about 7-8 years old)
- In whole country we don't have white or grey platic primer (we have DupliColors primers, but no white or grey).
- I asked LHS salesman if they can order photoetched parts and he asked 'What is that?'
- All Scale Model cars awailable here doesn't exceed number 15.
There! You all should be grateful for what you all have :iceslolan

Having to pay twice the price that I can get a model from HLJ for here in Australia.
And the fact that the local distributors dont bring half the kits into the country.
No Revell Tuners, very rare to get Nascars, dragcars or L.Ed releases.

mate i would go crazy where do you live, i thought its bad in australia trying to get stuff. a revell kit in Australia is now around $27.96 u.s
instead of the us price $11.00 what a rip off and unfortunatly its not the shops but the wholesalers to blame.

Don't look at all the things you HATE about models, look at the things you like about models. If there are more things you hate than love, then quit modeling.
