colleges IT department

i HATE my college's "information technoligy" department. These are the guys that run our computer servers. i receive 5-10 emails a day from random addresses carrying a virus that these guys havent been able to get rid of in 6 months. and thats just the beginning.

in all their wisdom, IT decided to disconnect everyone from the network and install MacAfee virus scan on our computers (without telling us). MacAfee didnt exactly go to well with my computer, and i found out why. When they set the program up, they set it up to delete all infected files from my machine. there were some very important system files infected by a worm called sasser. they were subsequently deleted. now my computer wont run right at all. im going to have to completely re format my hard drive.

Oh shit, you had the Sasser virus? It would be great if you could collectively bang the heads of the IT dept. together along with the little punk who wrote the virus...I'd pay to see it. You must also be excited to have computer problems during finals...ouch.
