painting question......

how do ya'll think this would look?

jet black base, with red-tinted clearcoat.....

i imagine black in normal lighting, then red where the sun hits it.......

ive got this plan, to save money for the rest of the winter, then work on my car this summer....

im gonna get some 15" rota slipstreams (sorry, but *HELL NO* am i spending 370 bucks per wheel for spoons!)

new shocks, and either coilovers or springs

paint job

and hopefully tax money will allow for a d16y8..

OH! and tinted windows...

i have access to car-painting equipment..so im gonna do it myself (im patient, and very capable) anyone know where to find paint/primer/clearcoat/the other stuff (i know there is more...stabilizer? stuff like that...) online place would be fine..

But I don't care to much about the paint job about my car.
Well I do but I wouldn't go and spend money painting it a different color.

my car needs a paint job anyway......its red right now..has some fading on the roof (southern sun is hell on paint, when the owner before didnt wax it!)
i wanna go dark, i dont like just plain black very much....so i think this would look cool.. dark, but it'd have something other than just black...and it'd look nice with the black slipstreams ;)

Good idea to repaint your car if it needs a new coat but I wouldn't repaint my car if it doesn't need one.

one that you like..............i like dark..makes it look sleek...
do you really have a honda integra? i'd kill for one.......... ;)

i like dark, looks "sleek" white looks "classy" or something...and inbetween looks..............like a car ;p

as for decals/stickers....only if its made of plastic, sold in a box, and you can buy it in the hobby section of walmart ;)

but really, thats up to you...just make it look nice, not tacky :)

Black with the red clearcoat might look a little funny. Black with a red pearl might look good. But even better, black with a purple pearl looks really good. But I guess once I think about it black with a red would look good. :)

hm, red pearl...didnt think of that....what results what that make? i know i want black/red.....i mean, it'd just make it shinier, or what?
