question about brakes

Hey everyone,
I just had a question, I am getting some slotted/drilled Brembo rotors and I was wondering if you are supposed to break them in, or any rotors for that matter?
Also, has anyone here had any experience with "red stuff" or "green stuff" brake pads? Are they better? Less brake dust?

Yeah With Any New Brakes You Should Bed Them In. With Pads You Should Follow The Manufactures Guidelines(generally Written On The Box). As For Rotors You Be As Gentle As Possible On Them For The First 200-300k's,this Greatly Reduces The Chance Of Disc Warpage And Glazing,both Of Which Greatly Shortens Expected Life.not To Mention They're Goin To Be As Fucked As The Originals Then!!

Oh Yeah...as For Green Stuff N Red Stuff.green Stuff From My Experiance Are More Than Sufficient For Street Use And Will Be A Marked Improvement Over Factory,but You "generally" Can Expect More Dust-its The Price You Pay Mate
