whats the best

i know that there is know one car thats the best but i want to see what most people say.... so here it is if you had 8k to spend on a car and well say 8k in mods what car would be the best and why.. and with that much in mods i would say the car has to be runnin around a 12 in the quater mile thanks....

A 5.0 fox body mustang.You probably only need $4,000 to buy a good one.There are alot of aftermarket mods for thease cars and they react very well to the mods.With $8000 dollars for mods, a fox body mustang will probably run 11's in the 1/4.With the 4,000 dollars left over you could probably get the car in the 10's or keep the money for yourself.

$8K + 8K mods = much faster than 12 seconds

... assuming you spend the money well.
If you only goal is fast ETs, grab a used AWD DSM and drop a few bucks it. 11s easily with the budget you are talking about even with poor driving.

I am running 11s and I plan on SCCA Solo 1 Hill Climb Racing and SCCA Solo II racing.

you could have alot of cars runnin 12's easy with that money. i think you could get into the 11's
i would go for something with awd and maybe turbocharged. that car get you easy power gains cheaper.
