Ok, I'm just wondering what all I should be looking at here. It's non-vtech, and has GSR headers on it. Wondering where to go from here for future mods. Goal is a 400+whp Integra.... any ideas sports fans?

For someone who can't even spell VTEC, good luck on that 400+whp. :cwm27:

I've got about $5k under the hood of my car and I'm lucky if I have 275whp, so be ready to spend some cash.

Start by building the motor to handle quite a bit of boost. Depending on how many miles you have on the motor, I would get a new motor to start building, it is gonna take some money, so I hope you have some. after you have built the motor to handle it, throw a turbo on there. Another reason I would build another motor instead of the one you have, is so you can keep driving your car around, and just build it out of the car. It will save you money in the long run, so you don't have to pull shit apart and put it back together a lot, since I am assuming this is your daily driver.

I'll admit I don't know too much about Hondas. I planned on buying an MR2, and then this kind of fell in my lap. I was thinking of just dropping a type-R motor into it, or maybe a GSR for starters. Since my motor has 120K miles on it. I'm trying to get cheaper significant upgrades. What ya think?

well it would be kind of hard to get a teg with 120,000 miles on it to reach 400 hp with cheap upgrades! you are going to have to do some serious work and spend some money to get it there. If you go turbo rout, I would say go gsr motor instead of the type R. Type R is better for N/A. And if you are really on a budget, get an ls motor and turbo that. the ls motor is cheaper to get really fast, but the gsr has more potential, and can get faster, just with more money. I guess either way you are going to have to spend quite a bit. What is your budget for the whole project? It is hard to say which rout to go for you unless there is a general idea of what you can spend.

I had a buddy sujested a T63 turbo for it, and fit a big front mount intercooler in there to cool it all. What ya think?

Ok, if I came up with 5K to spend on only performance for a start. What should I use it on?

1. Boost you B18B
2. LS/VTEC your B18B
or
3. Get a better engine...

Either way, you arent going to see 400WHP with 5 grand on that engine.

I've got $5k under the hood of my car and I don't even have 250whp. Good luck with your 400whp.

I ment I have $5K to spend over the summer, and never thought that would bring me to 400whp. Just to clarify that. I was asking for more experienced help on how I should spend my money that I have. Thanks for all the replys....
