your motor is just getting broken in, I wouldn't be scared until you start getting close to 250k

As long as you have taken care of it, it should last you a little while longer. I say just swap da bitch.

250k!!!! wow thats 20k for 12 years.....that freacking gr8. when i bought my 2000 civic i was just hoping that it would give me at least 5-6 years with no problem....and you guys saying that at 150k its just broken in!!!....thats awesome. so i guess i have plenty of time to work on my car then.....50k and four years later...i have plenty of time.

yes, hondas can go and go and go. My 88 accord has 247,000+ and the motor is still as strong as the day I bought it. I have a friend that has a prelude with over 320,000+ on it, still running strong. Just treat it right, keep the maintenance regular, and you can drive forever.

Yeah, my 96 ex has just hit 160k and other than normal upkeep, it hasn't said boo.

I didn't change my timing belt until 120k then did a whole tune up and had to change the ignition coil. Other than that no other work had to be done!

Mod the hell out of the car!
