rear electric wires

I just bought a tow hitch for my chevy astro. I'm having a hard time finding the electrical wires that I would use to hook up to the trailer lights. Any suggestions where I might find the wires?

Not sure what year you have. On my 89 Astro LT model the wires are located in the jack storage area. Not sure where you would run them to in order to get outside.
