93 S10 Blazer stalling problems

Hello all,
I have a 1993 S10 blazer with the CPI injection. When I start it in the mornings it will run for anywhere from 10 sec to 1 minute or so then just die, not gurgle and die, just die. Then once I get it to warm up a little it idles ok. Now, I'm not sure if I have two seperate problems but when I start down the highway it will just die out, (faster on hot days for some reason) sometimes it will start right up, but if it doesn't start right up I generally end up having to get a tow home. I just replaced my spider injector because it was leaking and I thought this might have been my problem. I don't want to put anymore money into the car until I have a better idea what the problem might be. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Regards,
TLS

Well one of the first things you have to do is determine what part of the air, fuel, spark combination you are losing when your truck stalls...especially when it will not start back up (this is the perfect time to figure out what is causing the problem)
Most likely the two problems are connected

I hope that you know that it could be a number of things. I'm experiencing a stalling blazer myself, and after about 200 bucks in repairs it's still the same. Seems that the bright people at chevrolet decided to put in a computer into the mix which functions for about half the problems. And, when your diagnosing the problem with chiltons or some other book, they all lead you to suspect the same thing, then if not that, then why not try and buy another useless item. Could be a bad wire...could be your spark...could be your cap or rotor...could be a vacuum leak...could be that the good ol' boys at chevrolet want you to keep in touch and keep buying the products over and over again. Take it to a tech and your down 100 bucks from the start, oh, it has a computer on board? Make it a grand just to be safe. Everything is inter-linked with one another. This is why you have to "Try" and "Buy" this or that. Or could it quite possibly be the poor way that it was put together in the first place? Putting major engine components on the back side of the motor, designing the gas pump to sit inside of the gas tank, something that you know will have to be fixed at one time or another.
My next vehicle will be a foreign one thats for sure. Try changing the spark plugs on a new camaro for instance...Nope, you'll have to take it into the shop. Ford had an issue with stalling vehicles as well, Guess what? Ford recalled them and fixed them at their cost, not to the consumer. Thats how you do business and thats why Ford and Dodge have customers coming back for business. Sorry to sound so soar, but i'm just disgusted with a huge company like chevrolet, and other automobile makers for not creating a web site to help people find and fix problems with their products. They could atleast go that far for a customer who spends over 30 thousand dollars on a vehicle they made.

Try the fuel pump, have had others with similar problems, could also be fuel pump relay, and knock sensor. But I would start with fuel pump, check Chilton’s for correct pressure, buy a pressure gauge, one that can go in where the filter is or what ever and watch it until it fails. If pressure is correct when it stalls, then its not the fuel pump. Its Probably one of the cheaper things to check.
