Need old 2g throttle body.

I was taking apart my throttle body the other day to fix a boost leak. I took out the shaft (holds the throttle plate) that runs through the middle of the throttle body.

When I took out the two metal bearings on either side of the shaft, I lost one of them. It is just a little washer of metal that has rubber on the inside. I have been looking everywhere for one, with no luck.

If anybody has an old throttle body. I just need the washer. Ill pay you for your time to take the piece out, and shipping, or wutever.

Is this a TB from a turbo car? There is a vfaq for throttle shaft seal replacement. I believe that may be the piece you are missing. Its a seal, but it also centers and supports the shaft, made of rubber coated metal. If so you can buy the seal for 7 bucks. MACH V sells a pair for 10 bucks, but I dont like them as much as the one listed in the vfaq. I have used both. If this info isnt what you need, I do have a used TB that I will sell you, if I can keep the ISC motor. ;)

thank you sooo much for the info. That will save me alot of money. I saw one VFAQ on the seal replacement, but it was the one where u just replace the rubber O-Ring, not the whole metal piece. But, i found that other one that your talking about. Im gonna check some local places tomorrow and see if I can find the seal.

Its a VERY rare part. I dont think you'll find it local unless you have some oddball specialty shop. IT wont hurt to look, just dont be dissapointed if you end up having to order it.

I'm still not sure I know exactly what you are talking about. The rubber Oring has metal in it, are we talking about the same thing? I cant think of anything else in there that could fall out, so I am assuming thats it.

Im talking about the little seal that goes around the throttle plate shaft on either side of the throttle body.(where the shaft spins) Its the thing on vfaq, im just bad at explaining things. =D

ill sell you a whole 2g throttle body for $15 if you dont find the peices. Just cover shipping.
