had a close look! totally different mounts, bolt holes don't even come close. good thing i have a welder, because those mounts will never move again, its only a thundercar anyway: have a good day :)

Please drop that 301 engine in an ocean so it can't disgrace the domestic community any longer :)

You need V8 frame mounts from second generation Camaro 70-81. remove your 301 Pontiac frame mounts. holes are already there. You can hold the chevy frame mounts on sub frame and see which holes line up. Firebird and Camaro uses the same front sub frame. holes are there for both chevy and Pontiac engines. If your using an auto trans. you'll need one for chevy, pontiac is different.

Throw out 350 chevy
Find 455 Pontic and drop in....

LMB is right! That small block will get embarassed badly, the first time you line up against a "real" Pontiac V8. You could have bought and built a strong 400 Pontiac for about the same money. If you bought upgrades for the Chevy, you paid even more!
BTW, you'll need an adapter or a different transmission, too. Was that 301 a turbo? If so, the parts are not worthless.
