sorry if this is in the totally wrong place but i have no idea where else to put it. anyway i am gettin a new car cause my parents say my current whip haha isnt safe enough for when my sister starts to drive so i get to get a new car. thing is i dont realy know about anythign besides 4th gen hondas my choices are as follows
94 vx hatchback with a b16 swap that is done well and all the usual suspects (i/h/e) as well as chipped
99 integra gsr looks really clean but the thing is has 200k miles on it (thinkin i shoudl stay away casue of the high milage)
something else maybe an eclipse or some other car that comes turbo charged
or my mom wants to lease a car so what would be a quick car that comes that way out of the factory
i want to get a car that is already fast so if its an older car that is modded already or something newer that is just fast in stock form it doesnt really matter but i am sick of having slow boring cars but i need it to be reliable what does everyone think here. dont give me a bunch of bullshit about mommy and daddy gettin me a car cause i need to have a car to get to the things i have to do (school, sports, etc) thanks for those of you that give an honest answer (i might sound paranoid but i have seen an increase in flaming and that is some pussy shit that i am in no mood to deal with)

What's the price range?
If I was to lease anything it would be either an EVO VIII, or maybe the new VR6 GTi, but that's just me...

SRT-4 is a good choice....

Damn you BLU CIVIC, I was gonna say SRT-4. 21K brand new for a 2004 SRT-4 which comes with around 230hp/tq to the wheels, stock, with a limited slip differential. 2003's have around 215hp/220tq to the wheels, and no lsd. High 13's possible in a bone stock if u can drive pretty good.

Were I to get something new and it was other than a civic or a teg, i'd look into either a wrx, or one of these:
Totaly Bitchen (http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/handleHomeFlash.action?vehicleCode=RX8&modelYear=2004)

Well if your going for power, you aren't going to get it from a car besides the SRT-4 for under 25K. The SRT-4 will beat the RX-8 and WRX in the quarter stock for stock. If you get an STi those are fast but also about 10K more than an SRT-4.

i love the RX-8's. They remind of of the viper sorta, it has that long body but goes inboard. Gotta love the suicide doors.

Yeah I don't fit in them, otherwise they look really nice. Fits 4 fullsize adults my ass, full size if they are like 5'3, lol.

EVO VIII's are really nice cars but will run you around 30K. I know if I had the money I would choose an EVO over an STi.

Good points. RSX-S is a very nice all around car. Very nice interior, sound, and decent performance. SRT-4 will blow all of those out of the water stock for stock in speed. Don't know much about the Redline or Spec-V.

If I was into anything other than honda, I'd get an SRT-4... the ECU has a dynamic boost control feature... the amount of boost is directly proportional to the ambient air temperature... in warmer/hotter air the amount of boost is increased to compensate for the expansion/change in density of warmer air... so as to keep the hp/tq rating the same in any air temp or altitude.
Next in line behind all the Hondas I could choose from *cough*Accord V6 6speed*cough* would be the VW Golf R32 (3.2liter V6, 4wheel drive golf)

It is a vr6, but its a 3.2 liter. 240 horsepower, AWD, 6 speed. There is one down at the local dealer and it looks very very nice.

if you're looking at a 99 integra with high miles...i bet you can find a 94-97 ls/gs Integra or 99 Si for around the same price range but with lower miles.

i think my top choice is a hatchback or maybe a four door, i am startin to like the idea of a fast four door anyway i thinkt that i would rather have a 6k car with 6k more to put into it than a brand new car (for the most part there are of course some exceptions) cause half the fun is working on the car right ?
