New Navi DVD

have any TL owners recieved the order for the new Acura Navi DVD? How often is this updated? and is worth buying?

I bought the new DVD and I don't see a lot of new info. I live in a relativley small town and there are still some streets not covered. It's probably better in metro areas.

It seems to load slower. I think there are some additional options and screens. But it still doesn't "learn", and it's wrong too often. This one hasn't turned me down any one way streets (the wrong way). But maybe it just hasn't gotten around to it yet.

I think it should have a choice of voices... like "ex-wife", "mother in law" or hooker ("oh baby, you made some strong turns last night"). Let's see some attitude.

Worth it? Probably not, if money is tight. I just like to keep up so I go ahead and spend the money. I do the same thing with On Star. Never used it but I renewed. Hope this helps.
