hey i got an 98 si with only 70,000km, and just bought it from the dealer.
i only had it for a few days and now the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is on.
is there anyways I can check that problem myself, or should i right away make an appointment with the dealer for them too look at it?
thanks
one more thing i need to know from you smart people, sometime when i driving, it seems to like lag at bit, like the car will be rev'n up in 3rd and it kinda of shoot fowards. not enough that passengers can feel it, but i can..any suggestions?
thanks again

I believe 1998civicsi was asking HOW to pull the CEL (check engine light) codes in the first place. This site might help you out: http://www.151boost.com/tech2.htm

Canadian's Civic Si = US's Civic EX
Did you try pulling a code yet? Granted the dealer can do it with a little machine on their own, but if you find the problem is easily fixable you could save a lot of time and money..
