What was your first car.......

I know this isnt exactly supposed to be in this thread but what the heck, i just wanted to know what was ya'll peoples first cars and who bought it. Did you fix it up or sell to get something better that might compete in the racers world......

mine was a beast a 1987 cavalier rs auto with no ceiling. and it was nasty brown interior. i did stereo mods and would prolly done some more but i bought my civic instead.

94 tarus, tranny went after a few months got a rex, hate my rex want new car

93 toyota paseo, still have the pos and don't plan on selling it anytime soon. (gotta love the gas mileage)

94 ford aspire aka the egg. I modified it by running into the back of a bimmer.

96 Prelude VTEC

91 accord lx
wowloved the mileage and all
but the thing was too slow
did a cd player and an amp/sub but sold it for my turbo lude
had to have boost with VTEC

1st car was a 1986 ford mustang SVO. Had a turbo charged 4 cylinder. was rather quick too. Parents sold it when right after I turned 16 though :( . Oh well I have 2 hondas now so I came out ok ;) lol

91 si hatch, tahitian green, it was in great condition it was mint! then it's luck ran out!

86 astro van (still one of the best vehicles i've ever owned. that van could drift like a mo fo)

15 Years Old -- Toyota Pickup 86 (exact as the back to the future one, it was modeled after that one) 0-60 mph 27 seconds!

16- Years Old -- 2001 Civic Ex 4 door (shared it with mom)

17- Years Old -- 1999 Civic SiR my dad payed 8,000 and I payed 3,000. 3,000 may sound as little but i had to work a lot and sell lots of stuff...

Currently 18. Selling my car in 3 months. Going to college, no car.

1983 Mazda Truck. POS. Would stall whenever I was coming to a stop so I had to keep one foot on the gas a tiny bit to keep it runnig and one foot to brake...good thing it was an automatic. Timing belt broke on it coming home from work one day, mechanic said possibly 800 in repairs, i said screw that and sold it to some weird guy for 200 bucks.

Currently 18. Selling my car in 3 months. Going to college, no car.

got a 1995 integra ls auto...would be still drivin that car..but the auto trans was its downfall ....

My first car, my 1992 Honda Civic, bought it a long time ago. Still have it of course.

not sure if my first was a 1988 dodge 600 se, or the 1989 bronco 2, either way they were both hand me downs. and after 8 months of driving them i bought an 89 dodge daytona ES for 500 bucks beat the hell out of it for a summer, smoked many a car and after 3 months had a hole the size of my fist in the block... then I went back to the bronco2 for awhile till i f'd up the clutch towing shtuff, then on to a ford taurus wagon (another hand me down), then my old neon, and then i got my teg:sunglasse.

94 integra ls.. altezza's, huge muffler, racing pedals, shift knob, and a nice sound system.. then I popped open the hood and found out that i was spending my money on the wrong shit. I wrecked my 94 good and hard..ended up buying a 95 with no engine, put my ls engine in it, kept the exterior stock except for some foglights and clear turn signals, and every other penny has gone into the engine.

1994 Honda Civic DX.....I still remember my first car....damn sold after two monthes :banghead: ....didn't have my own car untill the end of my high school senior year....got my teg :icon16: ....I'm having the teg over a year now so it's kind of my real first car....

1985 Fiero Gt...frame broke while goin over a railroad not long ago. A little bit of soldering and I got 700$ out of it.

Overheated alot, used to have to leave at my friends place,then I would show up and they would be narting it out in the hay fields after it rained. Was a real piece of shit, fun as hell though.
Bought it for five dollars. Don't get much cheaper than that!

I had to take the gas drinking caddy. it really sucked because I only made $3.25 an hour in the 80s

88 S-10 Basically stock but would spin the back tires all day long...planned on keeping it to put 350 in it and drag race it but found the 95 Vtec Lewd (current) and had to trade the S-10 in for downpayment...Also bought a 1970 GMC Camper Custom Teal Pic-up from my grandpa, trying to restore/show it.

-drove my mom's 99 caravan for awhile... hated it.

-then got my teal green 93 honda civic dx... everyone hated the color and never wanted to ride with me, but i loved that car, i beat the crap out of and it never complained and had great gas mileage. sold that and got my teg.

-my 94 teg GSR which is what i'm driving right now. tranny sucks... paint sucks... wonder some times why i sold my civic for this thing, but i still like the car.

funny you mention that, because i'm watching it right now.

my first was an 81 jeep wagoneer it sucked until one rainy afternoon i slid around a turn on an empty gravel road, hit an embankment, and rolled it. And then i drove it home. then i had a lot of two pos hoopties followed by my teg (which is auto and ricey, damnit)

89 nissan pulsar nx. with 226000 miles on it. ran it into a crub in the rain after 3 weeks with my liscence. tore off teh oil pan and bent a tie rod. some shop wanted 800 to fix it so i said fuck it ill walk and 3 months later got my prelude. nvr looked back. i think subconcisuously i wanted to wreck it.

'86 Cutlass 4 cylinder, in a nice sh*t brown color; bought it in '96 a few months before my 19th b-day. Only mods were installing a new tape deck and changing the oil.
Graduated to a 4 cylinder '92 Camry in '98, and then bought my current '00 Civic EX, which is awaiting it's ITR swap, in '02.

90 Integra GS, or RS, or something like that, it was red and was fun :)
