These are pics of a `59 corvette I built about 6 years ago or so. This was my first experience with bare metal foil. It was built from a Monogram kit. I managed a second place in a local competition with this one.

Beautiful work! But, I think that's a 1957 Corvette. The '59 had 4 headlights and a grill on the hood.
What kind of paint did you use, it really pops!

Thanks for the complements everyone. You`re right, it is a `57 not a `59. Maybe I will get pictures of the `59 up as well. I used automotive primer, I think it was plastikote, and plastikote yellow paint. The color was really dull though, so I put on 2 coats of testors yellow over top of it. I also used 3 coats of high gloss clear coat.
