It seems to me that these are a bunch of kids with 4th gen T/A's that can help you with putting in a air filter but have no clue how a supercharger works or what kind of cam wiil give you good low end torque Plz i advise anyone who is a serious firebird enthusiast to search for a different forum. Carburetor is not a word in most of these guys vocabulary let alone knowing how to rebuild one. Plz I've been reading these threads for weeks and the ppl here cant answer most questions new t/a lovers have somebody prove me wrong.

Reckage...there is some truth to what you say...and yes in fact i am a kid, but that doesn't mean i dont know anything about cars, i know how superchargers work and i know that you want you duration @.050" of your cam to be lower if you launch at lower rpms, because it adds more torque. I know all about 4bbl carbs, in fact me and my dad are rebuilding a 750cfm right now....so yea there are some kids in here and yes some, cough z06 cough, don't know what they're talkin about but that doesnt mean nobody does, all in all i think this a decent forum, not the best but decent.

If you wish to find a different forum for your car then more power to you. We try to offer a broad range of opinions here as well as knowledgable people, but if you don't feel you are getting that, then you have every right to go somewhere else. However, please don't look down on the other members of which you speak, and what they find interesting about which generation of cars. Also, please don't try to take away from the AF membership because of what you didn't find here as a member.
