Converting '97 Accord LX engine to EX specs?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before...

I have a '97 Accord LX which is about 130hp stock and non-Vtec...the EX version, I believe is about 147hp with Vtec and more torque...

Is it possible to upgrade the LX engine to the EX engine? If so, what parts are involved and about how much $$$? Is the Vtec, 17hp and extra torque worth the cost and time?

The only mods I have done so far are AEM Ram Air and custom 2.25" exhaust.

thats the same thing i want to know. i've herd before that all you have to do is get a v-tec head and ecu and add some vacume lines and i think even some oil lines. i'm not really sure but would like to know. i also believe that the lx has 135 stock where the ex has 145 stock

I don't think it's worth it for the 15 hp. Most people would probably swap in a prelude engine h22 or h23.
