My 98 tahoe runs great except sometimes it will not start after it has been running for awhile. It has to be off for about an hour or two before it won't start. But after you try to start it, it will start again in about 15-20 mins later.I have had no engine codes come up.Also when it does this, it will run with a squirt of starting fluid for a few extra seconds. Somebody help!!

When you say your truck wont start, is this a spins and no start or a engine will not turn over?
I am assuming from your description that this is a spins and wont start concern.
With you spraying starting fluid and the engine will run, I would venture towards a fuel delivery problem.
I would look at fuel pressure and see if it is low or non-existant when you try to start the engine when it is hot.

I realized that when the truck stalled immediatly after starting it the security light was blinking, I believe the Passlock system is to blame, but don,t know how to remedy it my self. If someone knows how please let me know.

Well that does make a difference on how we approach this concern.
With a start and stall with a security lamp flashing, most likely it is a Passlock failure.
There was a GM technical bulletin #01-08-56-004A for intermittant wiring connector concerns causing what you are experiancing.
Most of the time replcing the ignition switch assembly will fix this problem.
