why do you have two different threads with the same question?

Um, if you are still on the Amateur Leage, how did you get an F1 car? Strange.

If this is a serious question, yes the Viper is a good handling car. But I would suggest you look at the races in the Pro League and see which car will run the most races. Many of them have seruous race cars with downforce. Look at the prize list and go after a real race car.

Of course, you could simply blow the field away with your F1 car, but after awhile, that's not much fun. Try to win races with comparable cars so you can feel some accomplishment.

what are you talking about, the viper has pretty bad handling. all it is good for is its horsepower which shows on the straight aways only. it can go fast but its turning is slugish

you should just wait until you complete Amateur League...you get the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca as the prize for finishing it

Any of the american car lot other than Acura are sucking. I suggest the Mazda RX-7 FC3S or the Mazda RX-7 FD3S TypeRS & TypeRZ. They handle tyres like a charm. Other words, I mean tyre wears is deducted quite alot.

Actually, I've had good luck racing in the Corvette Z06 and C5R. The Viper is only good for straight acceleration or top speed if you tune it up, but the braking and handling sucks. Love the car in real life tho...
But yea, other than that, I'd stick with a non-American car in the game

I would suggest the lotus espirit sport 350 instead. it gets a lot more horsepower and i got it up to 335 on the test course.:2cents::iceslolan

Heh, a speed person. I bet your one of those racers that have 1,000+Horsepower of every car in your garage. And all of them are set for speed. I think I might challenge you to race my Mazda RX-8 on Complex String and then we'll see how fast that Lotus Espirt 350 really is.

If you want a speed car, buy the Escudo. Cause those 2 engines in the escudo are all power, no performance what-so-ever. Unless its on dirt.

you know only 1 part of me. I am MUCH more complex than what you have seen. Plus, I gaurantee your RX-8 would Whip my espirit on complex string. but my spoon civic would leave your RX-8 in the dust. Good handling AND 460 hp.

BTW, the escudo is good ONLY for the test course. I got it up to 4690 mph! if you want the specs, e-mail me at [email protected]( the toyota gt-1 racecar is even faster!)

Hey, you guys are almost right. I was thinking of the Concept and the Team Oreca. I guess I never had a regular. I bought one and entered it in the Trial Mountain Enduro against the NSX. I pitted every 5 laps even thought I had slick tires and I didn't use the 2 cheats. It took a long time to get used to it but I finally got it to turn lap times a little faster than the NSX. It's a little bit of a handfull but not too bad. There are certainly worse. Like the Zonda. I do think the Vette handles better.

I wonder what kind of politics is involved in making certain cars pigs and certain cars handle well. There's something there somewhere.

Okay then, since your Civic TypeR is over powered, lets go. I'll post it in the races forum. I'll PM you the link.

sorry i didnt mean to post the same thing twice i did cos i thought it didnt come thru as my computer is rly sloooow. plus i thought i deleted the other one but i cant eeek. Thanks for the tip though, ill just w8 to win the Team oreca Viper :p . gets a little boring just beating everything with an f1 car otherwise.

Oh, and I am in amateur leauge at the moment but ive done a few endurances which is how i got my f1 car. I just cant be bothered to do ne more enduros, they take so long.

you gotta challenge yourself so it won't get boring...put away the f1 car for a while and race using other similar cars.

as for the enduros, beat them the first time with a car comparable to the rest of the cars you are racing for a slight challenge. if you decide to go back and try to win a different car in a enduro race, then pull out your f1 car and beat it faster

I wouldn't bother at this point with the GTS, unless you just want to goof around in it. I would buy the GTS-R Touring Car. I bought a GTS once I finished the beginner league and thought it would do me better than my Corvette Grand Sport I had been using for the courses with long straits. Despite what others have said it handles just fine. Put the fully customizable suspension, big brakes, lighten the car, toss on a good differential, and get a sticky set of tires. I've had no problem controlling the car until I went for the stage 3 N/A tune which takes it to about 1,100 horsepower. Awesome acceleration, but it became too much a chore to control so I took off the stage 3 and stuck with the stage 2. Granted it isn't the best handling car in the game, due much to the fact that it is a bit of a pig, but for what it is I think it handles great. However, I haven’t used it much since I got the Vertigo.

I'm Boofed myself. Alright let's hear what the expertee (DRIV3R) has to say... "I was only wasting threads" like Tony Blair wastes ammo on Iraq. :nono: :nono: :screwy:
