I have just started building the engine for my rear engined Celica project and can't make up my mind if I should go for a convertable look with a custom rear engine cover or keep it as a coupe with the engine visable through the rear window and a modified passenger cell. Opinions please.
Cheers

I like the way the hatch looks, but I'd say go convertible and forget about that acre of heavy glass hangin' out back there. What was Toyota thinking? So, mid engine RWD Celica? The MR2 that should have been? Can't wait to see this come off the ground! Where are you sourcing the motor from?

Its all a bit OTT, the rear space frame and engine are coming from a Ferrari Mythos but hey should look nice in the rear
also considering flaring the arches or spliting the shell at the rear and widening it but that is a hell of a lot of work!!
The car is also going to be dressed in an SAS body kit, SAS brake kit and full metal etched race belts matched with SAS Sparco seats. If it all comes off I think Chris should sponsor it :iceslolan
