if you stroke it a little or a lot. talk nice to it and spray the shit out of it. you should get some twerk out of it.

Change gearing in either tranny or Diff or both, also longer intake runners increase torque, shorter increase HP, and dual intake runners per cylinder give you the best of both worlds.
Sorry, no Dual runners for any 4cyl I've seen.

well, if you use a long rod you will be able to appy more torqe than with a shorter one...
get it.. heheh
get it.. heheh

lol....um...if torque is increased, horsepower is too...it depends where you make your peak torque...

so where do you get good intake runners for these cars if they are what makes torque
and who makes a stroker kit for our vehicles

so, what you are saying is, that a longer intake tube makes more torque?

Stroking the KA is a bad idea. The motor is already stroked as it is thus the amount of torque it has. Cams from JWT, higher compression, and porting the head and intake match are all I can think of. The gearing idea is alright but where can you get ring and pinions for our cars? Ive heard of transmission gear replacements.

Cams and/or cam gears are a good place to start.

First off I'm talking of intake runners not the intake pipe, look at your intake manifold, the four tubes that extend to your heads from the intake pipe from the one which bolts onto your T-body, those are your runners. I've seen many upgrade runners for B series engines but not for 240s, they should be out there ask edlebrock they make for civics. Good runners can add 8hp but the main advantage is they let your engine breath better like port polishing, which gives you overall perf in every range. The longer they are, the more torque you get and at low range, the shorter they are the more hp at higher RPM. You can buy or get a good welding shop to make new or elongate your existing ones (better buying them).
Secondly, adding torque doesn't mean adding HP, there's a dodge dakota with 750hp and 1200lb of Tq, it is all in the way you do it. Good example the Ford F-150 and GT mustang have the same block, but the GT has shorter runners which boost top end performance but the torque is less than the 150, the 150 has longer runners and diff gearing which gives it around 350lb/tq comp to est 220 for the GT.
Lastly if you are thinking of port polishing your heads check this site out, they have an article of port polishing, blue printing etc, what needs to be done if you are doing it yourself or what to ask when haveing them done. nissanperformancemag.com check out "revenge of the nerds archive". Has everything you will need if you want to build a powerful motor from the inside out. Might want to just go with the easier way out and gas it, will be cheaper but if you are talking of true perf, then break open the piggy bank and go with Blue printing your block.

Oh by the way, stroking your block can have some serious effects, this will cause your block to be over square, which is good as this gives the cylinder more time to fill up, this is how high RPM engines are made, like those of bikes and F1 cars, little to no overlap, but this will rob you of TQ and give you a bad idle.
Bottom LINE: Hight lift, long duration set of cams =high top end power but poor idle and bad emissions at low speeds.
You've got to know when you want the power what you are using it for, and how you want to make it. Check out that site, might point you to the right direction. Good Luck.
