Gto??

Do you guys know what the differences are between GTOs and 3000gts?
what is a GTO MR, GTO SR? I heard the Mr is like a vr4 but with less weight and is it truth they run 12.8 1/4? also is the SR just like a base or SL but with AWD? they probably have asked this before but i have searched and i cant find much on this.

GTO is the Japanese name for 3000GT

MR= Mitsubishi Racing. its a VR4 with about 30kg less and by shedding some of the unnecessary extras, eg fog lights, ABS and cruize control.

the engine specs are still the same as far as i can see though.

and the SR is just like your base model except AWD.

Do a search, there was a long thread with lots of info a little while back.

there is a lot of myths about the gto. i own a gto and my turbos are the same as yours (not for long lol) and it weighs the same as yours. as far as i am aware the 3000gt uk spec is the only model that has larger turbos than std other than the jdm gto which is different again as std i think.
