1998 Caravan 3.3L Timing Cover Replacement

I currently have a problem with my 98 Caravan 3.3L w/99k. It has a pin point water link behind the water pump housing. After extensive searching, I've realized the housing is the entire timing change cover. What a pain in the arsh!!! Anyways, is this a common problem with these vehicles/engines?? I've tried to do a search on google, then came accross this website. But still haven't found some sound info on replace or problem for these vehicles/engines. Any info would be great, thxs.
