Hey again, after a lil research on how some WRX's achieve their fire, i found out that its that their exhaust and intake valves happend to open at the same time.
But then i ran into a twist... Some say that if you take your Cat off, it will ignite? I think just ignite when its revved or i think with the help of a spark plug at the muffler tip.
Please somone explain how this works, and how it can be acheived.
thanks

Most people do this by running their cars extra rich and putting spark plugs in their tailpipes to ignite all the wasted gas that gets through out the exhaust. Youd have to take out your cat and be prepared to replace your rear bumper because it might get melted if the flames big.

hey,
nah dude, i know what those look like, They have continuous flames. The guy in the wrx would hit the gas, maybe to 4-5000 rpms and let it drop and while dropping, it would pop some flames.
Its like Burnout 2 (the game).

All you need to get is an exhaust flame thrower kit.. You can wire them up to almost any vehicle.. Kinda imagine a small fuel injector mounted into your tailpipe, pretty much what it is..

I think its becuase the cams and engine in general, is running so fast. What takes place in the cylinder, makes its way out of the exhaust. It is a turbo wrx.

Hey, thanks for replying!
At least no i know i dont see just random things at car show-offs!
Well, about the fuel pressure... How do you adjust it on a celica (91). What would happen if i raised it up?
would it hurt my car?
anyone?
thanks
