Sorta funny race-like story

alright...i'm coming home from work last night and it's me and one other guy driving a small pickup (s-10 size...not an actual s-10, but something similar) going north on the road i'm on. he's stopped at a light and i'm farther back, but i see the light is gonna turn green so i don't bother breaking. so i go thru at like 40, pass the guy, don't really think anything of it. so the guy comes flying past me and then slows down again so i'm thinking "what the hell?!" so i keep going the same speed and pull up next to him and he tries to take off again, so now i'm mildly amused and i floor it for about 3-4 seconds, get up to 60 (from 40) and let off. by this time i probably have about 1/2 car lengh on him and since there's about 10 cars coming at us, i don't fell like getting pulled over so i slow back down to 40 and he goes flying by. so i just kinda laugh and when i pull up to the next light, i see the guy is probably about 50 years old.

maybe not that funny, but i found it mildly amusing

Well I wouldnt feel stupid losing to him. At least its not some punk guy in his teen years or in his 20's cause you know that by losing to them they would grow a huge ego from it. :disappoin

i don't think i really lost, but i guess it depends on who you ask...i just sped up realy quick to send a message (or something like taht) and since there's 10 cars coming my way and one of them may be a cop i just let off so as not to get pulled over (cuz they'll pull over a car with loud muffler and neons before the pickup obviously). either way...kinda funny seeing old guys racing
