420a parts

I am trying to put together a parts list that I need to rebuild my self a new motor and all the other things that I will need(ie turbo set up, tranny stuff, springs..ext.) But I am having a really hard time finding parts for a 420a. Also with my rebuild/turbo I was wondering what parts do you think would give me my target of 350hp.

420a is the 1.8 liter engine right? i can sell you every part except that the rear silent shaft and the journal for it in the block is screwed up that what happens when you throw a silent shaft bearing and drive around for a week trying to figure it what the fuck that knocking noise is :iceslolan

are you sure about that i thought that 4g63 was the 2.0L and just they changed a couple things between the turbo and nt but the engine number was the same

I think 300 or even 350 could be arranged it is just a matter of money and proper tuning but so is pretty much everything.

But even if you are not putting out quite that much a 420a is an interesting machine. It will almost always put out more torque than horsepower and that will be the deciding factor

These ppl r not rt....420a can make upto/over 400hp..don't believe/trust me...then go see my friends at Hahn racecraft...plus with there kits u get everything..say u want 350hp i think that is a stage 3/4 kit and includes the rods/pistons too plus u can start at stage one for bout 2grand then spend 800 more to upgrade to stage 2 and so through all the stages...if you need more help contact me cuz i'm currently building my car and will share any info/knowledge i have.

its a money factor more than anything and lots of time if you do it yourself. But can anybody point to a proper list of the steps to take when modding a stock rs/gs and what is the max hp you can get going all motor on a 420a motor keep in mind the compression must be kept low to accomadate a turbo setup as the final step after all motor mods possible have been done. Or where do they sell engines already maxed out on all motor power.

as for stage 3/4 kit is 350hp... um maybe at the crank stage 4 is 350hp! and once you hit that it does not come with everything you need... does it have valves, springs, cams, injectors, fuel pump, AFC, boost controller, exhaust... i could go on and on with this!
trust me buddy i researched this for about 8 months before i even started buying stuff... if you build your own kit its much cheaper! if i would have went thru Hahn for all my shit i would be sitting at around $8-9000 instead of $5000! and i got 350whp + 100 shot of nitrous... please explain how Hahn is better if you must!

ok where or does anybody sell built 420a motors. Or again how much power can one hope to gain if he goes all motor first by that i mean what would be the steps if one was going all motor first

An all motor 420a.. hehe. I'm sure it could be done, but I don't know how much power you'd get out of it, and I'm sure it'd be pretty damn expensive.

They do sell higher comperssions. I would suggests the JE pistons. You can get a set of them with a set of eagle forged rods for about $700 on ebay.
