Turbo problems and question.

Im sure this has been asked but i couldnt find it in search so dont flame please. Now i have a 1992 240 and it has been through a few motors( i like the KA) so do you guys and gals know the difference between a 92 and 95 or up motor, I want to turbo it and need to know if you can make the turbo kit for the 95 go onto the 92 motor? Thanx in advance. Also if there is no way to fit the 95 turbo onto it then what extra do i need to put a 95 in my s13?

the 92 has a sohc ka24de motor i belive the 93+ dohc..

hmm..i believe my car has a dohc engine and it's a 92 240. i don't see many problems putting in a turbo from a 95 to a 92; if you run into anything it'll probably be minor.

89-90 had sohc. 91 on have dohc. I believe the cam specs are different on S14's but I may be wrong. It should theoretically work but i would research b/c a lot of parts only fit S14s and likewise the opposite.

yes 91 and up is the dohc (ka24DE) and every motor there on is the same it just plagues me as to what is deifferent. The greedy turbo kits and some others only fit the 95 motor and this had me confused as to what the difference is. Thanx for the replys..anyone else?
