Mazda 6?

My friend has a new mazda 6, with injen cold air intake, catback exhaust, and light weight racing rims with toyo T1 tires. Can i take him in my 95 max auto?

hmmm...probably not...unless your pretty modded...is his an auto or manual

I raced one just yesterday on the highway, let me say that it was Murder, plain and simple, the guy wanted it and he got it. It was over before 30mph, he just gave up and said the hell with it.

I'm not certain that a 95 Max can take him though but I'm certain that he won't totally burn you either.

I think they have a really quick launch but after 2nd gear in a Max, the race is pretty much over unless he continues to push.

Race him and find out, let us know what results.

i dont know much about the mazda 6, i think its a low 15 second car. if you are auto with no mods maybe you get skunked in an upset ? but again, im not sure !

Well, my friend there may be some surprises. I will depend on which 6 your race. The one with the 2.3L I4 or the 3.0L v6. The four cylinder is 160hp at 6000 i.e. you have to get the thing whining to get the full power. The V6 though is 220hp at 6300rpm. If I had to guess, it's like BK stated, a good launch should end this puppy. Looka lika it gotta no low end ballsa.

He has the 3.0 with variable valve timing and all that, but i raced him neways today, after i got my 18's put on, and he couldnt get a whole car lenght ahead of me

without the 18's sounds like you would have taken him out !
