Thanks for your help

Your fuel pump sending unit would be the first place I'd go

The fuel switch in your trunk IS your fuel cutoff. If there is a problem with that switch it just may be why you are getting the light to come on.

Its kinda strange because when i shut off the feul cutoff light the car wont work. So really it only works when the light is on.

you can shut off the light by pressing the button in the trunk but when i do that my car wont start again so i have to leave it blinking to get it going.

Are you sure the light isn't plugged in backwards? or any plug plugged in backwards? that's what it sounds like to me...

wait, i just caught somethin...you say that when you push the button 'down', the light goes off and the car wont start? cuz I thought when the button is down, that means it feeds current to the pump, and when you pop it up with a flat head screwdriver or knife, that cuts power to the fuel pump.....

i mean when i pull the button up the car wont start and the light goes off, sorry about that. And when the button is down light comes on and the car is able to run. Sorry for mix up.
