GAY!!!! ticket...need info

i was on my way to school this morning when i stopped at a stopsign and the guy infront of me went, then i pulled up, stopped and i could see like 4 or 5 cars down then my view was obstructed, so i went right and there was a guy going like at least 40 (its a 30) pulled up behind me and there was a cop

he pulled me over for "fauling to yield at a stop sign"

i think this is bull shit becuase that guy had to have been speeding to almost hit me because i took off and was going like 20 in a second or to, and when i took off there was no cars for 4 or 5 cars back, so is there any way to get outta this...i know this is the cops word against mine but i dont think i deserve this cuz the other guy was goin fast

oh n btw it didnt help with me saying "fucking dick" and the cop hearing me after i got the ticket... so i think if i contest it then he'll show up

i know if i contest it at the perliminary and i goto the actual court thing he'll probably show up.... if i contest it and he shows up is there any way of getting outta it? or should i just say guilty...i really dont want my insurance to go up

Im not sure where your from but here we have x-coppers and points and a bunch of companies that will fight tickets for you. They cost alot of money but it pays off because your insurance company cant screw you as badly.

As for going to court, if you show up and explain why you dont think you should get the ticket, even if he is there, they should atleast knock it down a bit and not just screw you totally for it.

cops are fuckin bs, thats all there is too it, they think they have so much athority because they have a badge, yet them theirselves dont follow the law, i've had a cop pass me doin like 50 in a 35mph zone. but challenge his ass, when turning at a stop sign you must be at a complete stop and then go when its clear, but as far as the guy speeding how far did he advance from the other cars when he was behind you.

and speeding is a bigger offense than "failing to yield at a stop sign" especially since you stopped like you was supposed to at a stop sign, if you had to yield there woulda been a yield sign there

i live in a town with a bunch of rich people...and it was a rich fuckin Miata or sum shit like that, thats my only guess, its the kids in this town that get pulled over...and the mexicans (no offense) my towns cops are racist fuckers....

actually, 00Blk Celica GT-S, if youve even taken drivers ed yet.. you'd know that you dont have to have a yeild sign to yeild... you must yeild at stop signs and even roads that dont have signs... just take defensive driving.. you dont even gotta pay for the ticket... just for the class... or maybe you do but if you take defensive driving it takes it off your record and insurance goes down... :)

And not all cops are bs, the cop at our school is damn cool, if he pulls you over he'll just say dont do it again, but he says it like every time, he'll race you if you ask him too, and he'll clock how fast your speeding if you want... he's cool as hell..

thats tight shit, all the cops in my town are fuckers, if ur doin 41 in a 40 and ur a kid with a ricer, they'll give u a ticket...but if ur some rich guy doin 60 in a 25 theyll just let you go...its fuckin BS

If this ticket is a moving violation you may be able to plead it down to a no point deal. The fine will be higher , but the no points is the value. If or when you go to court as to talk to the prosecutor about the offense and plead you case to that person.Ask them blatantly of you can have it plead down or not. They should tell you. They will approach the judge for you and you actually get to go before all the folks pleading not guilty. While you may not like paying the extra fine it is just money. Yu have nothing to lose by asking also, I rearended a guy years ago and got a ticket for following too close. I damaged his car and paid for repairs out of my pocket. I went to court and plead it down. Hefty fine but no points. Now if that guys decides to sue he has little to no case. Good luck either way bud!!

i think that im gunna plead not guiilty nad just go in, if the cops not in there then ill get off right then if i pleaed not guilty and hes not there....plus i think if i just talk to the judge and say look i know it was a bad call, but nothing happened and nothing wouldve happened if the other guy wouldnt have been going so fast

im gunna goto where i got it and take pics and stuff... think thatll help out a little

I think you need to come back another day if you do not advise you are pleading not guilty previous to the court date though. Pics may help your case , but you were driving at an excessive speed so I think you have little to no case to have it dismissed all together. Pleading it down is probably your best course of action.Do what you gotta do and best of luck.

ok failure to yeild. at a stop sign all you gotta do is stop and go when its clear, a yeild sign is just when you gotta stop when there's oncoming traffic, i have a permit and passed the test first time through. but ya if you was going the speed limit and the guy was on your ass and having to slow down he was speeding and i'd go against the fact of him speeding and you stopped and yeilded till you felt it necassary to go. but ya the police here got pissed at me cuz i killed my car in front of him 4 times cuz i didnt wanna do anything stupid and get pulled over. i was so freaked out
