Power/Speed Loss?

I recently purchased an '02 Silverado 1500. It's a 4.3L w/ auto tranny. I got the truck with less than 20k miles on it and it ran awesome. I'd say 0-60 in like 9 seconds. It currently has just over 30k miles on it. It doesn't run like it did (0-60 in maybe 16-18). I keep it maintained pretty well as far as fluid and filter changes. The truck is just slower, no noticable signs of other problems...Would anyone know what the problem could be? I'd like to get it running tip-top again.
No mods yet (want so many it's ridiculous). Sweet reg cab, 2wd, sportside. Have major plans for it when I get cash rollin' in.
Thanks

check your fuel filter, air filter and plugs etc.. its a good place to start. I replaced my plugs with the Bosch platinum +2 plugs. and noticed better gas mileage and smoother power. Im not sure how much an Intake will help the V6 but im sure you will notice a difference. How many miles do you have on the truck now?

Thats a horrible time!!!! Most vehicles can do a 0-60 in 10 seconds. but, Holly crap 16-18!!!!!!!
something is seriously wrong. My 5.3 is stock and i'm doing high 6's in the 0-60.I don't know what to say... check to see if there is something stuck under your gas pedal so it can go all the way to the floor. But yeah I agree to check the filters, plugs, plug wires, timing, or the fuel pump.

Thanks for the reply guys. It's nice to know people are there to help out. There are 30k miles on the truck now. It shouldn't be so worn out, that's why its a concern. I've got a fuel filter ready to stick on just haven't done it yet. I think I'll go out and run a 0-60 later today. Just to make sure it really is sittin' around 16. I've heard stuff about the distributer also... maybe I could pop the cap off clean it up some.

Alright, just got back from making some runs. It wasn't quite as bad as I thought. Runs consistent 12.5's. The elevation here is about 2000 ft., it's 85 degrees and pretty humid outside. I know the truck used to run 8's to 9's. What's up with that? Another thing... the tranny seems like it doesn't want to shift when it should with the accelerator on the floor. Would changing tranny fluid and filter help that out? There's about 1,000 miles on the oil change and air filter right now. 30,000 on the fuel filter, tranny filter, and plugs. Any ideas? I really can't spend money on stuff that won't help. Thanks.
